On the Youth Floor!  We are building a community of believers in our Middle Schools and High Schools by teaching youth how to show Christ’s love to others. On Noel’s Youth floor, you will find a safe community of love and acceptance. Join us as we tackle life’s tough questions and work on strengthening our faith by digging deep into the word of God. Youth gatherings involve community building through fun activities, sharing common meals, and nurturing our faith through learning, discussion, and service. Come find your niche as a member of Noel Youth. There’s always a place for you!

youth band/joyeux noel choir

sundays, during the school year, 4-5pm, youth floor

Youth band brings together our youth interested in vocal performance with those interested in furthering their instrumental talent. Combining their musical gifts, our youth band practices throughout the school year preparing performances for worship services and other church events!

sundays 10am

Our youth sunday school is a wonderful atmosphere for youth to learn more about how our lives are part of the grander narrative of God’s story. Exploring the Bible as God’s story allows our youth to see the unique value of their own life story and the lives of others.

Confirmation Class

sundays 10am (certain times during the year)

ur confirmation class, designed for 6th and 7th grade students, teaches the principles of the United Methodist church, preparing them to confirm their faith in Jesus Christ and join the United Methodist Church. Confirmation is a wonderful experience that allows the youth to explore the intricacies of faith and the details of the United Methodist tradition in a fun-filled experiential manner.

Youth Missions

Each summer our youth participate in two big mission trips:

Weekend of the Cross

Weekend of the Cross is a city-wide service weekend for low-income families needing house repairs.

senior high summer mission trip

The summer mission trip is a week-long opportunity for our youth to serve others in unique and meaningful ways while learning about different cities and cultures across the United States.

Boy Scouts Troop 15

Troop 15 is the oldest troop in Northwest Louisiana, founded by its chartering organization, Noel Memorial UMC.  In the Boy Scouts of America, all boys, regardless of their religious preference, are welcomed.
