Noel Chapel Thursday in May

Join us May 30 at 5:30pm for our monthly service in Lane Chapel.

This month's liturgy focus is honoring the children and parents we miss on Mother's and Father's Days. This, for our space, will mean many things: the people we've lost to death, those we've lost to estrangement, the realities/dreams/versions of our lives that we miss or have said goodbye to. Please invite anyone that you think may benefit from this type of time together. And if you're interested, please consider bringing pictures of loved ones that fit this focus to put on the altar rail.  We will have someone at the chapel door to guide kids to childcare. This month's liturgy will be called "Always with You" and will honor the children and parents we miss on Mother's and Father's Days. Childcare available.

Inviting all Youth & Adults, to spend this Summer in THE MIDDLE HOUR, a new twist on traditional Sunday School.

Sundays, June 2-August 4.  We will meet in the Noel Café’ from 10-10:10 am for fellowship & announcements, then off to your offering of choice until 10:50 am.

How does it work?  However you want!  There will be three offerings for the ten-week period. Each class will be designed in such a way that the lessons can stand alone from week to week. You will be able to stay in one group the entire time or move from class to class as you choose each week.  The Treehouse will be participating in their own version of this summer fun & fellowship.  Try it out! Purple Bag list

Thank you for your faithful generosity.  Each filled bag makes a difference.

Bring your bags to worship the 1st sunday of the week or to the church office during the week.

Purple Bag Sunday-The Manna Months!  During June & July, the Food Pantry will be collecting items for ‘manna bags’ in addition to regular purple bag items.  ‘Manna bags’ are special bags for our clients who come to the church office after pantry hours and have no facilities to prepare food.  VBS children will also be participating in this mission. Purple bags are in each worship area or shop online at noelumc.org/foodpantry.  For June:  Spaghetti (12-16oz.), Boxed Side Dishes, pop-top cans of meat and fruit, peanut butter cracker packets, and cereal bars.  Please pick up items as able and bring them back   Sunday, June 2.  You may also bring them to the Church Office during the week.

Noel Food Pantry Collecting Gently Used Backpacks

These backpacks will be a blessing to our walking, bus and bike clients as a means to carry their food. Drop off in mission boxes around the church.  Thank you!

Noel Food Pantry Items Needed

In addition to our Purple Bag ministry, Noel’s Food Pantry also provides the following to our clients:  hotel soap, shampoo, lotion, etc., toothpaste & toothbrushes, brown paper and plastic grocery bags, and children’s activity books (ages 5-12). Please place in mission boxes around the church.
